Windows 10: Startup without PIN

I have a new laptop and when it was set up it demanded that I enter a PIN to open up the desktop.


I do not need a PIN, and I do not WANT a PIN. I just want to turn on the machine and see my desktop.


I never leave the PC unattended, and even if it was stolen, I do not store any sensitive info on it, everything is on a mem stick I put in my pocket if I ever walk away.


How do I bypass this required PIN at a=startup?

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

 

Clear "Pin suggested" list in People Bar


Does anybody know how to clear the "Pin suggested" list on the "People bar"?

Contacts are added to the "Pin suggested" list once you've pinned and unpinned them. But there seems to be no obvious way to remove them from that list.

After playing around with this feature and pinning and unpinning many dummy contacts, it's rather annoying to see them in the "Pin suggested" list when you click on the "My People" icon in the taskbar.

• Select Accounts.
• Open Sign-in options.
• Under PIN, click Add.
