DS3 raid setup

ok heres where I see somthing wrong, when going to install the drivers they dont actually install.. it says

Microsoft Windows

Startup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically.

Problem signature:
Problem event name: StartupRepairV2
Problem Signature 01: ExtrenalMedia (my usb drive ipod)

Problem signature 05 & 06: FailureDuringSetup


meh Im using the latest drivers, when loading them off my ipod/usb device it loads them and than sees my raided hds as one 591gb drive. with vista on it.*Bang Head :banghead: *Bang Head :banghead: *Bang Head :banghead:


ANYONE using a ds3 or DQ6 with raid? and Vista?

 

Startup repair cannot repair this computer automatically

I saw in a thread earilier similar situation, but did not work for me. Your solution system recovery solution above sounded really great until I got to the step where you tell us to click on the Command Prompt button on the System
Recovery Options menu. Were you looking at an older version of Win vista. After following the steps indicated, i get only two option, the System Recovery Options menu shows Startup Repair
and a full System Restore option. No option for Command Prompt. I tried F8 at start up and selected command prompt, it starts to display 6 to 7 lines, then goes again to startup repair. It runs the repair again and i receive the message (windows
cannot repair this computer automatically). And i receive pop up window with two options (send information about this problem to microsoft and dont send, and view proble details which are:

I closed the window and i see two options:

View diagnostic and repar details

View advanced options for system recovery and support

i click on view diagnostic and repair details and all tests results were completed successfully with error 0x0

and root cuase found says:Startup repair has tried several times but still cannot determine the cause of the problem

Then i clicked on the 2nd option: View advanced.........

this took me back toselect language and keybord layout. It is set to English and US

i click next takes me back to the original options:

startup repair

Dell factory image restore...

i am stuck in a loop of no progress.

Hope someone had fixed this issue and can tell me what optins i have other than factory reset, because i will lose all programs that i had.

Raid0 harddrives not visable in Vista, Help!

For some reason when I go to the repair part of Vista install dvd it does not see my raid0 hds until I load up the gigabyte Vista raid drivers off my usb device.. I add the drivers and than it recognizes my HD/OS (Vista)..

I click to repair my OS Microsoft Windows Vista 610429mb (E*Smile Local Disk

and this comes up..

been backing up data and crap all weekend hoping to install my new OS.. I would like to have a game of COH before I have to start my week of work again.
