Windows 10: State:Shared Windows 11

    State:Shared Windows 11


    Windows 11 23H2 22631.3155 non-insiderSomething I just noticed that kind of bugs me. I have several "folders" on my desktop with various shortcuts within. I just noticed in the bottom left of one of those is says "State:Shared". I am the ONLY user of this system...so who the heck am I "Sharing" this to? Does anyone know anything about this or how to remove the "Shared State"?

    Hi,

    I am referring to the post at Windows 11 Error message 0x00000709 when trying to install shared - Microsoft Community . For solution given by Ramesh Srinivasan below:


    I need clarification for the given steps from the link above that is this need to be configured for both PC which are PC that

    • direct connect to the printer via USB and share the printer,
    • and PC that wants to connect to that printer ?
