    I’m working on Windows 7 from my desktop and getting error STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION. Can you please help to resolve?

    Status_access_violation

    I have an installed software tool in Windows 10 (where it used to be building software packages just fine in Windows 7) where the build is failing due to STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION exception error.

    The build function is running a C29K C++ application (exe) in C:\Program Files (x86). System error below:

    c29k[main] make 1000 handle_exceptions: Exception: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION
    18333

    Could this be an issue with the System PATH variables? I do have full admin privileges to my WIN 10 laptop.

    HP Laptop having random BSOD's

    Thanks for the reply. But yeah the suggestions there aren't really usefull, and I think there's an underlying problem that causes this. The random errors in Chrome I can live with, but the bluescreens not so much....
