Windows 10: Steam, Java, and Various Installers Refusing to Connect after BIOS Update?

This is a very confusing and time-consuming situation, and I want to avoid reinstalling my OS at all costs. I don't have the time now and it would be a huge hassle with the amount of programs I have installed 200+ total, just because a handful of programs are broken for an unknown reason.I recently swapped from an intel motherboard to an AMD one with a Ryzen 9950x, because I was fucκe over by 13th gen Intel CPUs bluescreening for an entire year.Things were working fine at first, including Steam and Java programs. Java updates?

I got a notification on my system at boot up this morning wanting me to install a java update.

IIRC, in Win 7 it was suggested that java should not be run at all.

Is java on Win 10 safe and should I allow updates to Java?

That bios update listed on gigabyte website is listed as un stable

Install Unchecky and you won't have to worry about that stuff anymore.
Java has been trying to change browser settings and install junk for a while now. *Sad
Oh, and check your installed programs list for older versions of Java, which may need to be uninstalled manually.
