Windows 10: Steam Vr crashing after 20-30min playing Vrchat

It turns out that recently playing vrchat has been giving me crashes after 20 or 30 minutes of playing. I use Quest 3 + Virtual desktop SlimeVr Trackers 23 Gb ramryzen 7 3700X2060 rtx The errors that give me are: 1- Erroring application name: vrcompositor.exe, version: 2.6.2.0, timestamp: 0x66513c55 Failed module name: ucrtbase.dll, version: 10.0.22621.3593, timestamp: 0x10c46e71 Exception code: 0xc0000409 Error offset: 0x000000000007f6fe Failed process identifier: 0x0x5F14 Failed application start time: 0x0x1DADDDBDB153DF8 Erroring application path: C:\Program Files x86\Steam\steamapps\comm

BSOD When playing VRchat

Hi, so I've been having a recurring issue for the past week or so wherein if I'm playing VRchat in seemingly any capacity, within 5 to 20 minutes my computer will crash and BSOD with the stop code being (Critical_Process_Died). So far this has only happened when playing VRchat and does not seem to be an issue with any of the other games or processes that I've been doing over the last few days. It has happened when playing wirelessly through VirtualDesktop and Oculus AirLink, also wired with Oculus Link and when playing in desktop/Non-VR mode I've asked a number of people for advice and been given instruction to run scans and diagnostics all which seem to come back okay, and now I've been directed here to see if anyone here could help Windows Version - 22H2 (OS Build 19045.3086) DESKTOP-48HDQTE-(2023-07-20_15-33-46).zip

 

After anniversary update, steam vr hangs

My pc does a kernel crash any time I play a specific game

Hi,

check C:\Windows\Minidump for crash dump files. Upload them to onedrive and share them here.

For now, update your GPU drivers with the manufacturer provided tool (either AMD Adrenalin, Intel ACR control, or GeForce Experience)

Also make sure VRChat is up to date, as well as steam VR and everything else in the chain (e.g. Oculus software, if you are even using a VR headset at all.)

Also, provide the errors shown in even viewer.
