There are several reasons why you are having issues installing iTunes on your computer. Having said that, we will be doing some troubleshooting steps to isolate the cause of this issue. Before we proceed, may we know the following:

• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• Can you send us a screenshot of the error message that you are getting?
  Note: Please do not include any personal information.

In the meantime, we suggest that you download The Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package and then install it on the computer. Please see links below:

• The Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x64)
• The Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86)

After downloading and installing the said item, kindly download iTunes and check if you will still experience the same issue.

Visual C++ Redistributable won't install?

This issue might if the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package is not installed properly.

I suggest you to uninstall any existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package to check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Uninstall the exiting Microsoft Visual C++.

a) Press Windows key + x key and select
Programs and Features.

b) Right click on the Microsoft Visual C++ and uninstall it.

Step 2: Download the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and install it.

We suggest you to follow the below mentioned steps and check:

Method 1:
Uninstall and re-install the program.

I suggest you to uninstall the program and then install. Go to the manufacturer’s website to download the latest version for your laptop and then install them. To uninstall the follow the below mentioned steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Go to Control Panel.
• Select Programs.
• Uninstall the program.

Method 2:

Follow the steps to install the program in
Compatibility mode.

• Download the updated program from the manufacturer’s website.
• Right click the installation file and select
  Properties then tap or click the
  Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the program and check.

Method 3: Run the SFC.

Follow the below steps:

• Open Command Prompt.
• Select “Run as Administrator”.
• Type “sfc /scannow” without quotes and hit
  Enter.
