Windows 10: Steel Series Arctis 3 Is Not Being Detected

First of all hi and thanks to the people who are reaing this now.For a few weeks I have a problem with my Windows 10 laptop. I have a Steel Series Arctis 3, when I plug it into my computer, It asks which device I plugged in. I pick headphones and click OK but it does not conduct the voice to my headphones. When some applications or videos such as video games or YouTube with sound is open, it does not ask me anything and it conducts the sound to my headphones. But in no circumstance the microphone of the computer or the microphone of the headset is working. I checked device manager and clicke

Hello, so my windoes doesnt detect my Arctis 7 headset surround system. There is nothing to choose

 

Microphone Detected but not picking up audio

I Have been using a steel series Arctis 3 mic for a while with my PC (Windows 10 Home 64-bit).

Recently my microphone will no longer pick up sound. I have tried using it with a different computer and it is working just fine. My PC picks up the mic and recognises that it is there however it does not pick up sound. The audio coming from the Headset
works fine.

I have searched and searched but can't find a solution.

I Have tried:

Changing all possible settings in the playback and recording window

Updated my drivers

Tested Mic with separate computer

Installing separate driver from Steel Series

 

After Installing Ubuntu to Dual Boot With Windows 10, Steel Series Engine 3 Not Working?

recently i have installed ubuntu to dual boot with windows 10. all went smooth and everything is working properly except for sse3. the default red backlights are working on my keyboard but steel series engine 3 is not recognizing my keyboard when i open the program. i was just wondering if there is anything that could be conflicting to cause this problem.

i have updated all drivers and software that go along with my keyboard.
