    Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel

    I have an old steering wheel that worked great up until I recently did a fresh install of Windows 10 ver. 1909. The steering wheel is the Logitech Driving Force GT from 2007.

    When I plug it into a USB on my PC now it's not recognised and in the device manager it only shows under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers with the message 'Device Descriptor request failed'. When I run the Logitech gaming software ver. 5.10 as recommended
    in past forums (as this is the last known supported version of the driver) it cannot detect the steering wheel. I am assuming this is because Windows doesn't know what type of device this is at all, even in a generic fashion.

    Has Windows 10 stopped support and recognition of this steering wheel?

    I'm using windows 11 in Lenovo Yoga C930.

    I think the game Asphalt 8 doesn't recognize the laptop as tablet and touchscreen but Asphalt 9 works fine.

    Is there any solution to fix it? Is a window problem or app Asphalt 8 problem?

    I have upgraded my laptop to the latest version of windows 10 and after I installed Asphalt 8 Airborne, steering not working on windows fall creators.
