Windows 10: Steps to clean my hard drive on a Windows 11 Pro Dell laptop?

Any tips on cleaning my 1 TB hard drive prior to a reinstall of Win 11 Pro on a USB flash drive.This is necessary since I cannot recover admin rights, Even after 3 sessions yesterday via Microsoft Chat. Even a Level 2 tech I chatted with for over an hour.You'd be surprised how limited your options are without admin rights, Or maybe you would't smile.My main concern of course is missing drivers AND of course will I then be able to finally after a week of inttense troubleshooting by me -- a retired software engineer.Thanks in advance for any tips you can provide about features I might lose

Replacing a laptop hard drive with a SSD

I have a Dell Latitude E5420 laptop which has a Windows 10 Pro O/S. I would appreciate a step by step guide on the procedure to replace the hard drive with a Solid State drive; specifically dealing with the transfer of all the software from the old drive to the new. I have an external hard drive I use for backups and a free version of the Macrium Reflect program on the hard drive. The SSD is brand new. I have just 50 GB in total on the 231 GB hard drive. The SSD has 250 GB capacity.

Clean install of XP on Dell laptop?

My friend has an inspiron laptop from dell. He got it with Vista preinstalled on it, but wants to switch back to XP. He got an XP Pro CD, but when he inserted it, the "Install XP Now" option was greyed out. I thought it might be dell trying to make life difficult when reinstalling windows. *Confused Any advice??

If I formatted the hard drive for him, NTFS, would I be able to clean install XP or would the prob still be there?
