Windows 10: Stereo sound on OnePlus Buds Z2 not working.

I have a OnePlus Buds Z2, Stereo sound was working absolutely fine for the past three months. Just since the last one week, there is no sound playing through stereo. Only Handsfree AG audio is working, and it sounds like ****. I tried everything on the internet to no avail. I tried reinstalling Realtek audio drivers, and all the bluetooth drivers in device manager is up to date. I'll be glad to share few more details if needed. Any help would be much appreciated. Stereo Bluetooth Headphones do not reproduce stereo sound

Bluetooth 4.x headsets (headphones with microphone) have two modes:
1. Stereo headset speakers with NO microphone
2. Mono headset speakers with microphone

I see in the listing for your headphones it shows a microphone. Make sure your the audio is configured correctly so that you have stereo headphone speakers.

With your headphones connected with Bluetooth

Left-click on little speaker (bottom right on desktop)





You should see current speaker for computer
In this example headphones in stereo is selected





If you click on Headphones you will bring up all options





To see more…
Right-click on little speaker (bottom right on desktop)





Select Sounds from list





If you want Stereo Headphones but NO microphone

Select Playback tab
Make sure Headphones is the current playback device





Select Recording tab
Make sure Microphone array (or similar) is the current recording device

 

Crackling Sound from Oneplus Bluetooth earphones.

I am using Oneplus Bluetooth earphones. Since I upgraded my laptop to Windows 11, I am facing crackling sounds from earphones. I tried to troubleshoot by the windows troubleshoot option, but it is not fixing. I have also tried to uninstall and reinstall Oneplus drivers for audio, Bluetooth, sound from device manager, but no positive results. I have also tried to enable and disable sound enhancement. I have tried to restart "Windows Audio" and "Windows Audio Endpoint Builder" from services. But when I reset my earphone, sometimes it is temporarily fixing the issue until I restart my laptop. Only by going back to Windows 10 is permanently fixing this issue. Maybe it's a bug with windows 11 for Oneplus drivers.

Also, I am using these earphones with different mobiles, but I didn't face any problem.

Pairs Pixel Buds A-Series but no sound

Try "Manage sound devices", and Disable everything, but make sure Pixel Buds are enabled.
