Stereoscopic 3D gets disabled on system restart

Hi, we have a projection system with 8 PCs each driving 1x 3D projector. Recently the 3D stopped working and we figured out this was due to the Windows 10 3D display mode setting getting disabled when the PCs are restarted.

Strangely, it seems that Nvidia Control Panel's "Manage 3D Settings -> Stereo enable" option does NOT affect the Windows "stereoscopic display mode" setting, but the Windows setting DOES affect the Nvidia option. It seems that the Windows setting is being turned off on restart and that causes the Nvidia setting to also turn off.

Is there a way to stop the Windows 3D display mode from turning itself off? Or else a cmd/powershell script to automatically turn it back on when the system starts up? Currently the only fix is to manually turn the setting on once all PCs have booted, but it's a pain to have to do this all the time for 8 PCs.

    Many thanks,

    Simon.

    :)

  3. primary display's adapter does not support NVIDIA 3D Vision. Error. Windows 10 Pro

    Thank you for updating us.

"If you think, totally UNISTALLING all NVIDIA software should SOLVE MY PROBLEM" - Are you referring to NVIDIA graphics card or NVIDIA 3D Vision? If you're referring to
NVIDIA 3D Vision, the cause of the error is due to incompatibility of your graphics card.
NVIDIA 3D Vision is a stereoscopic gaming kit from NVIDIA and driver software which enables stereoscopic vision for any Direct3D game, with various degrees of compatibility. To help you resolve the issue, we suggest that you uninstall the driver
of the NVIDIA 3D Vision. To uninstall NVIDIA 3D Vision, follow the steps below:

    • Press the Windows Start and type Programs and Features.
    • Click on Programs and Features.
    • Look for NVIDIA 3D Vision Driver or NVIDIA Vision Controller Driver.
    • Click on uninstall and follow the onscreen instructions to uninstall.
    • Restart your computer.
