Windows 10: Sticky Notes Error

Hello,



So I've had Sticky Notes The version that came with my Windows 10 for 3 years, and it's been very reliable. However, just today, I tried to access my notes. The app shut down the notes and when I tried to re-open the notes, it continued to close them down by itself.


So I reset my computer and tried opening it that way. Didn't work. I looked to the internet, to see if others had a similar problem. That was when I realised I could reset the app. And so I did, keeping in mind I'd lose my valuable notes. But I didn't lose the notes, nor the information on them. It's like I never reset anything, the app still won't allow me to access the notes.


Those notes are very important, they have vital information on them. I am wondering if I should just reinstall the app, or maybe even, I have a virus. I just want my notes back.


Is there a way I can just have copies of the notes without the app shutting me down every time? A way to access the notes, not through the app, maybe there's another copy of them somewhere in my computer, a place where they are stored. I also cannot access the list of my notes, something that should be allowed when I right-click on the app and find the option.



Can anyone help?

Sticky Note Missing

1.- Open >> Sticky notes, when located on the taskbar (Right click on the option) >> Select: List of Notes, now check if your note is in that list.

Sticky Note Error?

To further help you with your concern about the sticky note, we suggest using System File Checking in Windows 10. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Right-click (or press and hold) the Start button, then select Command Prompt (Admin)
• Enter sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/").

Windows app troubleshooter for this issue. Meanwhile, we also recommend that you reset your Sticky Notes app by following the steps below:

• Click the Windows icon and click Settings.
• Click System, and then click Apps & features on the left menu.
• Click on Sticky Notes on the list found on your right menu, click
  Advanced options link, and click the Reset button.
• Click the Reset button again when you see the confirmation dialog to reset Sticky Notes app.
• Close the Settings window and check your Sticky Notes app.
