Windows 10: Sticky Notes won't sign-in - account has no mailbox

I get the following error message when I attempt to sign-in to the Sticky Notes app: We couldn't verify your sign-in info. Your account doesn't have a mailbox, so we can't save your notes in the cloud.I was successfully using the Sticky Notes app less than 24 hours ago on my work laptop, now I get the same error message on both by work laptop and Home PC. There have been no Windows updates installed on either computer since I last successfully accessed the Sticky Notes app. I'm using Sticky Notes version 6.1.4.0 on both computers. I am signed-in to Windows with my personal Microsoft Account on

Sticky Note Missing

Let's see if with the following steps we can solve the problem:

1.- Open >> Sticky notes, when located on the taskbar (Right click on the option) >> Select: List of Notes, now check if your note is in that list.

2.- Follow the steps suggested by the Windows MVP in your article

Sticky notes may have encountered a system file corruption that caused this. We suggest that you run the

Windows app troubleshooter for this issue. Meanwhile, we also recommend that you reset your Sticky Notes app by following the steps below:

• Click the Windows icon and click Settings.
• Click System, and then click Apps & features on the left menu.
• Click on Sticky Notes on the list found on your right menu, click
  Advanced options link, and click the Reset button.
• Click the Reset button again when you see the confirmation dialog to reset Sticky Notes app.
• Close the Settings window and check your Sticky Notes app.

Sticky Notes Sync broken

To address Sticky Notes syncing issues on both Windows and Android:

1. Check internet Connection.
   
2. Update sticky note app on both devices.
   
3. Sign out and sing in again.
   
4. Verify Microsoft account credentials
   
5. Check Microsoft account services status.
   
6. Reset Sticky Notes on Windows.
   
7. Uninstall and reinstall the app.
