  1. Still best security practice to use CTRL ALT DEL on Win10?

Does Windows 10 still recommends the use of pressing the CTRL ALT DEL before logging into Windows? Reason asking, because I remember that almost every Windows NT/2000/XP/7 machine had it for security reasons and was the recommended security policy by most enterprises and businesses. If I want the most layered security approach, would it be a good idea to set the CTRL ALT DEL sequence keys at the Windows 10 logon screen or is not really needed on Windows 10?

    :)

  2. Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

The whole Ctrl+Shift+Esc should be used to get that crazy screen with those options and Ctrl+Alt+Del should bring up TM.

    Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

On a domain you won't get Task Manager when you hit Ctrl+Alt+Del. You get a crazy screen with a bunch of options.

Ctrl+Shift+Esc has always brought up just the Task Manager, even back to Windows XP days. You just weren't aware of it. *Wink Still best security practice to use CTRL ALT DEL on Win10? ;)

Go ahead, try it in Windows XP too.

    Ctrl Alt Del, Vista

Depends on whether you have the Welcome Screen, or the Domain Logon screen at boot up.
