Windows 10: STILL cannot highlight, copy & paste

Highlight, copy/cut and paste are essential to my productivity. Yet the problem of being unable to reliably highlight, copy/paste has been around since 2012 -- lots of threads out there complaining about it but no real solutions.


I've only had the problem for about 6 months on my Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga14 and it's driving me nuts. I've tried all suggestions offered in this and other forums with no luck.


SO WHAT IS THE HOLD-UP FIXING THIS SNAG, MICROSOFT? The glitch is across the board for me, not just in Office 365. Yet, if you could only fix it in O365, I'd be a lot happier.


It's not the mouse/mice, my touchpad, or my hardware causing the problem. I know I'm not the only one with this problem

Highlight for copy and paste too sesitive in Windows 10

1. For example, if I am trying to copy several cells, maybe 3 to =

10 cells from Excel, when I try to highlight them so I can = copy=E2=80=A6or cut, it is almost impossible to highlight them, it is = like they are super sensitive, they just won=E2=80=99t stay highlighted.

• I am just trying to copy them to the same sheet, same thing in =

Word or any other program, even is I am trying to highlight something on = the browser.=20

• I only run Microsoft browsers and office programs=E2=80=A6. =

Office 2010.

• I am running the new Windows 10, I had Windows 8.1=20

=20

Aside from the couple of updates installed, there could be other changes performed on your computer that may have caused the copy and paste function to not work properly.

For us to properly sort out this problem, we would like to verify the following:

• Are you using the mouse to highlight, right click, copy, and paste?
• Are you experiencing the same issue when accessing a different website?
• Have you tried to use the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+ V functions?

In the meantime, try to completely shutdown your PC,then turn it back on and observe if the same issue persists.
