  1. Still getting "KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE" after many many fixes

Let me preface this with the fact that my brother built this PC about 7 years ago and tbh we havent upgraded many parts of it since the first build.

However, it hasnt been crashing this much before. Lately we've been getting the kernel security check failure BSOD quite a bit. It frequently happens when gaming, but upon bootup it sometimes crashes immediately (albeit less commonly)

We just made a new Win10 install on an SSD that previously had Ubuntu installed on it because our HDD was crashing more often. Because of this, we've double checked our OS and drivers are up to date and even swapped our RAM around to see if it was a mem issue. i'm running a system file check now, though i doubt that will solve anything. We've cleaned out the dust and even replaced the thermal paste, which brought down the temp by over 10 degrees F. The only other thing i can think of is a memory diagnostic so ill run that after this SFC. I'd love to get to the bottom of this.

    Specs:

    AMD FX 8350

    Nvdia GeForce 660Ti

    16gb DDR3 RAM

    500GB SSD

2TB HDD not currently being used

    Edit:

I can provide Minidumps if needed Still getting "KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE" after many many fixes :) currently set to Automatic mem dumps

    OS Build: 19042.685

    Report from the SFC:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.

For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at

windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For offline

repairs, details are included in the log file provided by the /OFFLOGFILE flag.
