Couldn't do my contract work since and I cannot afford another computer at this moment Thank you so very much!P.S. I sent this question under the wrong profile so I will go on there and remove that thread. This is my personal account.

Blue screen with Windows 11 version KB5036980

    Dear community

I've installed the window update KB5036980 on 2024 April 25th. Then I didn't use the computer much but today April 30th when I tried to use the computer the blue screen came up. Stop code: BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO. I'm not sure what caused it so I looked up troubleshoot on various places online including this forum, they suggest uninstalling latest update before resetting PC so I tried restarting with advanced option to do that but it won't let me and then tried restoring to earlier configuration but there's no such point for me to restore. Then I tried starting up windows 11 go to normal SETTING and look for update history and uninstall this update thinking this could help fix the issue but when it's maybe almost uninstalled the blue screen comes up again: stop code: BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO. Same one that keeps popping up which prevents me to complete uninstalling this window update. Then the system tries to restart and said it runs into some issues but don't worry it's restarting. Kind of looping restarting until I forced it to stop.

When I looked at update history again, in fact it looks like this windows update was reinstalled as the install date was updated into April 30th.

So far I can still start up the computer and get to the desktop just don't know when the blue screen will pop up suddenly. Sometimes very soon, other times maybe 10mins into me working on something.

What should I try next? I really need my laptop as I have many meetings that must be held on the laptop and not with the phone.

    Thank you very much.
