Windows 10: Still no translucent taskbar

It has been several months, since about February, that a Windows update disabled the ability to make the taskbar transparent/translucent. I have posted about that repeatedly in the community forum, and through Windows Feedback. Several other users have also noted that they can't make the taskbar translucent anymore. But Microsoft has not taken note. It's still broken. Some have come up with some novel solutions to fix the problem, but Microsoft's further updates have destroyed those fixes, including third-party apps like TranslucentTB. How do we get Microsoft to fix the problem at the source?

translucent effect not working in win 10 pro 21H2

I installed windows on my desktop using flashdrive. After the installation was done There was no translucent effect. Only taskbar was a bit transparent but not translucent. Even start menu and action centre was not not transparent or translucent. Otherwise windows is working perfectly.

 

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

Did you try the “Auto-hide the taskbar” option from Taskbar properties?



If you have not tried it, I would suggest you to follow these steps and auto-hide the taskbar:

• Right click on Taskbar.
• Click on Properties
• Check the box Auto-hide the taskbar.
• Click on OK.
