    Still vulnerable to WannaCry

    I am currently on Windows 10 N version 1803 (OS Build 17134.191)

I've run the windows updater and installed all updates that were offered, but when using the EternalBlues tool that checks for vulnerabilities it still shows that I am vulnerable. Is there a specific patch that I need to download? SMBv1 is NOT installed/enabled.

    :)

  2. Is Windows 10 still vulnerable to WannaCry Ransomware?

WannaCry spreads by exploit in a weakness found in Microsoft Windows which was formerly exploited by the US National Security Agency (NSA) and targets unpatched systems. A group known as The Shadow Brokers claimed to have dumped hacking tools stolen from
    NSA.

How to protect yourself from WannaCry ransomware

Microsoft releases WannaCrypt protection for out-of-support products...Windows XP, Windows 8, & Windows Server 2003

    Quote from
Microsoft Customer Guidance for WannaCrypt attacks

"...we are taking the highly unusual step of providing a security update for all customers to protect Windows platforms that are in custom support only, including Windows XP, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2003. Customers running Windows 10 were not targeted
    by the attack today.

  3. Is Windows 10 still vulnerable to WannaCry Ransomware?

If you have all the latest patches then you should be protected from WannaCry.

However, it doesn't mean you are safe from all current or future Ransomwares.

    To help prevent Ransomware:

    • Use a browser that you can block Ads, Flash, Java, and JavaScript
    • Don't believe browser popups
    • Don't believe phone calls saying they detect something wrong with your computer
    • Don't click on links or open attachments in emails
No one thing is a total solution, but if you were to practice safe habits you'll go a long way to keeping yourself safe.

  4. Still vulnerable to WannaCry

Is Windows 10 still vulnerable to WannaCry Ransomware?

I saw so many YouTuber playing and capturing this Ransomware for educational purposes, but what surprises me is
they're infecting it on Windows 10 (not on old OS that's said ONLY vulnerable to WannaCry Ransomware)
and it did work. I thought Windows 8 to 10 is supposed to be safe from this exploit bc Microsoft already built a said protection introduced since Windows 8? I'm super concerned about that since my PC runs Windows 10, I thought I was safe?

Also I wanna know how this spread on said "PC's connected on the same network" I can't see any YouTube video showcasing that yet, just a single PC showing how it will be infected, I wanna know how fast it will spread or bury on your unprotected OS? Bc I
just heard that the Ransomware is already spreading like crazy on our town, even affected government agencies? Could that Ransomware travels on a IP network, and it will just take time to reach me? Also I wanna know how this will be blocked even by Windows
Defender itself? Or even any other antivirus? Is Windows Defender or Antivirus alone make my PC safe about this? It would be helpful if you can step by step tell me the scenario since I wanna be informed about this?
