Who is the better company?

You are absolutely correct sir !.........If I was in the market for a Nvidia card and looking for a good price/performance ratio, that would be my choice. All the companies that have been listed above are very good, so you really couldn't go wrong in selecting any of them. So for myself, it would just come down to what card I feel I can get the most bang for the buck out of regardless which Mfg it is. Warranties & Customer Service may be the things that can vary which can have an effect on one's buying disscion. But aside from warranties and step-up programs that may be offered, many people will often upgrade their GPU's before most warranties expire anyways.

 

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Printing stopped with November upgrade

I would suggest you check if the print spooler is running. Start/Stop print spooler service. Follow the steps below.

• 
  Press Windows key + R, type services.msc
  and press Enter.
  
• 
  From the list, locate Print Spooler service.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and select Stop.
  
• 
  Restart the computer, repeat step 1&2.
  
• 
  Double click on the service and check if the service is started.
