Windows 10: Stop code 0xc00021a while trying to boot up PC

Trying to boot up PC and this code keeps popping up. Before this happened I was updating windows

Can I fix stop code 0xc00021a without doing a fresh install?

So it's been about a month of this **** and I still can't seem to fix anything, it started after my mouse froze on my screen so I restarted my computer via the box and when I turned it back on I got a blue screen with the stop code "0xc00021a" I have to many things on my computer so I can't use a portable hard drive to move everything unless I buy like 5 of them and I cant lose any of my files or apps (the softwares I use only give me a 1 time key that I've already redeemed after I reset my pc last year)

Here's a list of things I have tried:

• All the SFC commands (told me it couldn't preform the action)
  
• Tried chkdsk (said it couldn't preform the action)
  
• Uninstalling the latest updates (it said there was none to uninstall)
  
• Booting in safemode (I get a bluescreen)
  
• Disable signature (get bluescreen)
  
• Got a usb with the installation media (can't get it to boot with it without a bluescreen so thats just a huge loop)
  
• Tried auto repair (get bluescreen)
  
• Opened note pad using the command prompt to see my files (all files weren't showing but the storage said they were there)
  
• Tried to disable the windows anti-virus (got bluescreen)
  

I know that the pc has to be missing some important window files because of the stopcode so is there anything I can do to repair them using a usb? Or am I just screwed??

 

Lenovo computer won't boot and gives error code 0xc00021a

I have a Lenovo desktop with Windows 10. I tried factory reset and it didn't work. It seemed to take a long time to restore and then shuts down. Now the computer does not start. Every time I try to start the computer, the computer goes into the usual Lenovo startup and then I get a blue screen with the code 0xc00021a. The computer shuts down and does not attempt to restart.



Hope someone can tell me how to at least restart the computer.

Given the steps you've already taken, it's possible that the issue might be related to hardware failure or corruption that cannot be fixed without a fresh install of the operating system. However, there are a few more things you can try before resorting to that option:

Use the Windows installation media to boot into the Windows Recovery Environment and try the Startup Repair tool. This tool can automatically diagnose and repair startup issues, including those caused by corrupt system files.

Check your hard drive for errors by running the chkdsk command from the command prompt. This command scans your hard drive for errors and can fix any issues it finds.

Run a virus scan to check if your system has been infected with malware that might be causing the issue.

Try a system restore to a previous point in time before the issue started happening. If you have a restore point, this may be a good way to restore your system to a working state without losing your files.
