Windows 10: Stop Code BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO

Hi,


I have the above message when I opened up my computer (using Windows 10 Home and probably the latest build as I always update regularly).


I have tried the automatic repair option and every other option e.g. troubleshoot. I have tried to boot from a recovery disk, which was made just after I purchased the laptop, which had Windows 7 Home included without success.


I have tried the usual restore point and roll back options which have failed.


I have downloaded the media creation tool v 1903 from another computer and then copied onto a memory stick and then tried to install it without success. It seems that all attempts to do a clean install have failed!


I have been able to identify the following drives: -


1) System reserved (C

2) PQ Service (D

3) Packard Bell (E

4) CD Drive: - (F

5) Boot: - (X


I have never seen an X: drive before and when I get to the cmd prompt it is the X: drive and will not allow me to access any of the directories.


I have tried "Use another operating system" then Windows Recovery Environment and the Windows 10 options with success.


I would be very grateful if anybody can help as I now have an expensive pick of junk that is unusable and useless.

How do fix a stop code BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO

 

repair stop code " bad system config info "

Laptop will not open & shows stop code " bad system config info". Tried all the troubleshoot methods & none worked. Does anyone know how to fix this problem without going to a technician ??
