Windows 10: Stop Code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Hi. I'm writing this on my work laptop. The problem is on my personal desktop.

I have a blue screen that reads:

": Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you.

If you call a support person, give them this info:

Stop code: KMODE-EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"


My computer hasn't restarted. I manually restarted it and I was able to briefly do some things and then the above message came on with the blue screen.


I've looked through the trouble-shooting, but there aren't any recent answers. Please help.

Many stop code errors!

I'm finding that my computer is crashing a lot. I've been recording the stop codes and the list includes at least the following:

IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN EQUAL

SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

PAGE_FAULT_IN_...

MEMORAY_MANAGEMENT

KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

I know that this is quite a collection but does it suggest any common theme or cause?

BSOD Stop Code System_Service_Exception

I just got another BSOD while the PC was sitting idle on the desktop. This time the stop code was kmode_exception_not_handled.

Zip attached.

 

Windows system crash with BSOD error message: kmode_Exception_not_handled, systemthread_Exception_not_handled (Ntfs.sys).

I have had several crashes since I bought my new pc (12th Dec).

2 of which are:

• kmode_Exception_not_handled
• systemthread_Exception_not_handled

Both contain "Ntfs.sys" as the "what went wrong"

I have not been able to catch the other stop codes. Could someone help me?
