  1. Stop forcing products/services on me that I do not want.

When booting up my PC today and logging into Windows which I have paid for you try to force free trails of Office 365 and backing up my files using OneDrive. I do not want these products/services but I was unable to proceed without accepting terms for thing I DO NOT WANT!I tried to close this using task manager but you also prevent this for some reason and there was no way to proceed without rebooting my PC again.STOP FORCING THESE SERVICES THAT I DO NOT WANT ON ME OR I WILL MOVE TO LINUX AND YOU WILL GET NONE OF MY DATA!

    :)

      • Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

      • Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old

    • Restart
BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer and Windows Update Services. To do this,
      type the following command:

      • Net start wuauserv

  4. Stop forcing products/services on me that I do not want.

i want to stop a service in task manger im a admin and its saying something you will se in the pic and i want to stop that service

Thanks for reaching out! I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you.

    Please try these steps:

Taskkill Command: Open Command Prompt as Administrator and execute the following command:

    taskkill /F /PID <pid>

Replace <pid> with the process ID of the "Windows Filter Service". If you don't know the PID, you can find it by using Task Manager or by executing tasklist in the Command Prompt.

    1. SC Config Command: Another approach is to change the service's startup type to disabled and then attempt to stop it. This can be done with the sc config command. Again, open Command Prompt as Administrator and execute:

Note the space after start= is important. This method might not work if the service does not accept stop commands or if it's protected

Please let me know if the suggested method works for you or if you need further assistance.
