Windows 10: stop from going into sleep mode in 30 seconds

Discus and support stop from going into sleep mode in 30 seconds in Windows Hello & Lockscreen to solve the problem; my computer goes into lockdown mode even when i sneeze........i am the only person in my home, i do NOT want the computer to go into this mode..........     stop from going into sleep mode in 30 seconds


    my computer goes into lockdown mode even when i sneeze........i am the only person in my home, i do NOT want the computer to go into this mode....... have tried reget, setting time parameters.......it still does it no matter what....

    Hi,

    One of the possible cause, why your laptop asks you to re-log in, is because of the current power option set on your system.

    Can you tell us if your laptop goes into sleep mode after 30 seconds?

    If so, kindly follow the steps to further isolate the root cause of this issue.

    • Type Power & sleep in the search bar, then click on it.
    • Check if your current power option is set for your device to go into sleep mode after 1 minute.
    • Change it to never and see if the issue will occur.

    Computer stopped going into sleep mode

    Hello, Kiran.

    My computer is up to date and I didn't change any settings prior or after the update

    I tried step one, but I haven't wait the time required for the computer to go into sleep mode. I did change the 30 minute wait to 10 minutes. So, I'll wait and see what happens

    Sleep mode is designed to stop all actions on a computer as it puts the device to a low-power state. Since you want to continue using a program even while your computer is locked, we suggest turning off Sleep mode by following these steps:

    • Click Start.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Click System.
    • Choose Power & Sleep from the left pane.
    • Under Sleep, choose Never.
