Windows 10: Stop images from auto-saving?

Hi,


This has become increasingly frustrating and I can't find a way to stop it, so I'm hoping someone here can help.


I'm a photographer and mostly use the Abobe suite for image processing. My workflow is:


- plug in card reader

- open folder

- select images

- import into Lightroom

- Export to chosen location


There is a folder in my Pictures folder named 2020 last year it was 2019, surprisingly! which has more folders within with the images for each import. These are copies of the original files, which I save elsewhere so do not need them taking up unnecessary space. I frequently find myself deleting the folder but of course it comes back.


Can anyone advise me on how to stop this? I've gone through all the Lightroom settings and can't find anything here but happy to be wrong.

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
