Windows 10: Stop management of minimised program

Hi all,

I'm sorry I don't know all the technical terms but I'm having a frustrating time running programmes on my machine while doing other things.

I'm trying to run a programme written in python on the command line. It is fairly cpu intensive and will take several hours to run.

I still want to be able to use the computer at the same time though but as soon as I start to browse the internet etc windows dramatically slows the program. Is there a way to prevent this?

Random explorer process causing minimising

When I have a game in fullscreen every 5-10 minutes it will randomly minimise.

I used a program that logs all programs that open, and it showed the program that made it minimise was explorer. When it is minimised there is no explorer window open. I really need this to stop. Any ideas/solutions?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

There are certain apps in Windows that aren't possible to be stopped as they're needed by your system. If you want to stop certain apps to be stopped from running in the back ground, follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key, and type in "task manager".
• Choose Task Manager > More details.
• Right-click on the apps that you want to stop from running, and click on
  End task.

Let us know what happens after following the suggestion.
