  1. Stop Microsoft Nag Screen After Installing Windows Using Local Account

New PC running Windows 11 Pro. Opted for Local Account during initial Setup process.Every so often during startup, Microsoft hijacks the screen with a nag prompting the user to complete the Setup of the system ... meaning to either sign in with a Microsoft account or to create one and use it. If I click the wrong thing, then I'm stuck in the nag screen. The only way to get out of it without entering a Microsoft sign in is to reboot the system. I will never sign in to my PC with a Microsoft account. I want the nag screen permanently disabled. How do I accomplish this?

  3. Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are
    • Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
    • No Internet connection during the install
    • static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

Stop Microsoft Nag Screen After Installing Windows Using Local Account

get rid of windows edge nag screen at startup?

I don't get any such nag, but then I don't sign in with a Microsoft account either. Perhaps the two are related. Here's how to switch out of a Microsoft account.

Switch to Local Account in Windows 10

If that's not it, have you ever opened Edge? Perhaps if you open it just the once the nag will stop *Wink
