Discus and support Stop Microsoft Teams from reinstalling after few restarts. in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Is there anything I can do to permanently stop Windows from reinstalling Teams without my permission?     Stop Microsoft Teams from reinstalling after few restarts.


    Is there anything I can do to permanently stop Windows from reinstalling Teams without my permission? I don't either want it or need it.

    How do stop Microsoft Teams from loading

    I have never logged into Teams, so go to Settings > General > Application: does not apply.

    I can End task in Task Manager or right click on the Taskbar icon and Exit or Close window.

    Restarting Windows brings back Windows Teams.

    Microsoft Teams is not listed on the Start menu.

    Microsoft Teams was listed under installed apps and was installed on 2/21/2019.

    I uninstalled the app and did a restart.

    Problem solved.

    My Webcam is not working with Microsoft Teams

    Hi Antonio,

    I have gone into settings as you said.

    Microsoft Teams is listed under 'Some desktop apps might not appear in the following list or are not affected by this setting' which comes under the 'Allow desktop apps to access your camera'.

    The Webcam works with the following apps: -

    Windows Camera app

    Skype (from Microsoft)

    Zoom

    I have checked that my Kaspersky software and it is allowing access by Teams to the Webcam. I uninstalled the Webcam driver and then reinstalled it.

    As the Webcam works with all other apps then I believe it must be the interaction with Teams and my Webcam.

    Please advise next steps please.
