  1. Stop O365 accounts from un-installing applications on Win 11 Pro

Hi,I'm trying to limit an end user from un-uninstalling applications while logged in via an o365 account on a Windows 11 pro machine. The M365 Business premium account is somewhat restricted on the machine can't install apps without prompt for admin credentials but the account can un-install any apps currently installed. As part of setup, the machine was joined to Entra ID using a device enrollment manager account. The applications were installed via a separate local admin account. Can I limit the ability of the O365 account to un-install the applications currently installed?

    :)

Can't login to O365 home after migration Windows local account to domain

I used O365 home on my PC. For the tests I created a domain on my private server based on Win 2016 Datacenter. Then I connect my PC computer (win 10 pro) to the domain.

Then I migrated an user account from local one to the domain. And pufff... all applications works well (even OneDrive) besides O 365 apps (Excell, Word, Outlook, Onenote, etc.).

The trouble is: when I try to login to O365 account, when I put the password, than nothing happend. No error message, no nothing. Off course I am not logged in.

I removed and re-install office package, I made a fast repair of O365 package, i created new profile in control panel > Mail and deleted old one, I flushed local DNS history, and nothing Stop O365 accounts from un-installing applications on Win 11 Pro :(

    Any suggestions?

How To Upgrade Win 11 Home to Win 11 Pro w/ M365 E3 Subscription

I recently purchased a new laptop, and it came with Win 11 Home. I wouldn't normally buy a new machine with the Home edition, however, I knew my M365 E3 subscription includes Win 10/11 Pro, so I thought I'd be able to upgrade it. No so, at least not yet.

My impression was once I register the laptop using my E3 account, I would then have the option to upgrade to Pro, but that doesn't seem to be possible for me. Admittedly, I'm very likely missing something obvious, but I do need help.

Here's the Trouble (and some add'l notes): I've tried everything I can think of to make this happen and I've read countless Microsoft Docs and community questions, but I continue to hit dead end after dead end.

    Notes

    • Added work account (E3) account in Settings and ensure the laptop is registered in Azure AD.
    • Intune doesn't see the device and when I attempt to sync it with my domain, I receive an error which states, "The sync could not be initiated (0x80190190 Bad Request (400)". I feel like I'm missing a URL in a policy or need to create a policy, but I genuinely don't know.
    • I created a Win 11 Pro install w/ a flash drive. Went through the process to upgrade, but never saw what I expected to see (request to authenticate w/ 365 account).

Does anyone have step-by-step instructions to:

    1. Ensure I've done all the prerequisite steps in my tenant (registered with domain, managed by Intune if that's necessary, anything else).
    2. Upgrade it from Win 11 Home to Win 11 Pro using my E3 subscription.

All I want to do is upgrade it to Pro so I can join it to my Azure AD domain. I don't want to buy a Pro license since I'm already paying for it. That's all.

Please help. Stop O365 accounts from un-installing applications on Win 11 Pro :)
