    Right, this is a very disorganised question, please assist if you can:I have a situation on a windows 10 machine where I have a software that monitors some assets.I don't want to monitor to run non-stop because of reasons and I have a wish to turn the screen saver onweather a black screen or one of the nicer screen savers like the fish and bubblesSo what my question is - do any of you know of a way to cause the screen saver to turn off because of an event/app command instead of moving the mouse/pressing on the keyboard?The need is for a location with multiple computers that each

    Screen saver won't close/wake up with keyboard or mouse

    Hello,

    • No other changes were made to the computer besides the Windows update.
    • Screen saver settings are as they were before the update. I can not find anything in the settings that affects the actions of the mouse or keyboard to wake the screen saver.
    • There are no pending updates and the update that happened yesterday appears to have completed successfully. All other operations (so far) are functioning normally along with the new Mail application.
    • Note, in addition, the same problem (can't stop the screen saver with keyboard or mouse) happens even when previewing the screen saver in Settings.

    Screen Saver/Desktop/Screen Saver

    I have a screen saver that I have used with Microsoft 1995,Microsoft XP, Microsoft Vista, M.S. 7, M.S. 8 and Windows 10 versions of O.S. without ever having a glitch or any other problem until my computer accepted upgrade to Windows 10 Version 1703.
    I can run the Screen Saver but I have to enter CTL/ALT/Delete and then CANCEL the screen that comes up after that. Of the list of Screen Savers listed with Ver 1703 only 3 will work with moving the mouse or striking a key on the keyboard. Instead of that
    version being and upgrade it is a step backward. That is not the only thing I don't like about Ver.1703. I tell my friends to not download that can of worms.

    After a recent Windows 10 update, I cannot take the screen saver off with the mouse or the keyboard. I must use Ctrl + Alt + delete to get the task manager on the screen which then removes the screen saver without further action. (I do not have to actually
    use the task manager). Any suggestions?
