Windows 10: stop teams pop up ad

i have windows 11 with all available updates. i DO NOT have teams installed, yet i continue to get random pop ups seemingly coming from my logitecj k400 keyboard with gestures from touch, pad turned OFF. i also queried them about the issue. the add team members stilll pops up from time to time see below.r

I have Windows 11 Home.

From what I've read this is issue on Win 10 & 11.

I have a Logitech Keyboard with a touch Pad.

From what I've read issue happens with ANT TOUCH PAD swipe left, so

a. all laptops.

b. All keyboard with touch pad.

I think the issue is that

WHEN you SWIPE LEFT; Windows 11 (Home or Pro, or Win 10), you get the Teams Pop Up Ad, an example is posted at above link.

It does this, whether TEAMS is installed or not. Un-installing TEAMS does NOT

If you un-Install TEAMS

a. TEAMS re-installs itself at next start up (built into Windows, has nothing to do with TEAMS settings or Skype or Machine-Wide Installer).

b. You still get popups, even when TEAMS is un-installed (so pop up ad is NOT from TEAMS, it is from Windows).

ISSUE is TEAMS pop up ad is BUILT INTO WINDOWS and is NOT from TEAMS.

So question is:

HOW do you DISABLE SWIPE LEFT connection (Windows 11 (or 10) Home (or Pro) to pop up AD.

Does not matter type of keyboard or computer.

I have seen over ~3040 people reporting same issue.

OVER ~3040 people reporting same/similar!

WE JUST WANT pop up ad for TEAMS (built into windows) to GO AWAY.

I have seen no correct answer, perhaps because we are all asking the wrong questions.

This appears to be a WINDOWS ISSUE that MicroSoft has decided to pop this up when we swipe left.

Not a TEAMS issue.

Not a keyboard/driver issue.

TEAMS is working correctly.

Touch Pad is working correctly.

Windows is working as designed.

This is a marketing feature built into windows, we all want to GO AWAY.

So question is:

HOW do you DISABLE POP UP AD for TEAMS when you SWIPE LEFT in Windows 11 (or 10) Home (or Pro).

I have read if you disable of tap gestures on a LogiTech key board it stops pop up, but that is not what we want.

What we want is Microsoft to undo the link in Windows between swipe left and TEAMS pop up ad.

Which is a pretty crappy feature, NO ONE wants pop up ads built into their operating system.

 

Corel pop-up ads

Hello all,

I have Corel PhotoPaint 17 and the CorelDRAW Home & Student 17 suite. I'm getting pop-up ads about every other time I exit from any of them. It's really annoying. I've tried the three main methods that I've found to stop the ads.

1. Checking the "do not show again" box on the ad itself
2. Going into message preferences and unchecking those options
There's a dropdown menu that should be there but I don't have
3. Going into Task Scheduler and disabling any Corel tasks
I don't have any Corel items listed there

Over a series of five emails, Corel tech support gave me the same suggestions and when I told them that none of them worked, they blamed Windows 10 and said that my Corel product versions were no longer supported anyway. It was too long ago to remember exactly what I did but I must have been able to use these methods on 8.1 because I got the ads then and did something to stop them. They never came back so whatever I did worked.

So, I'm looking for some less conventional options to stop the ads. I'm totally open to suggestions.
