    Stop Windows from requiring a password?


    I have the sign-in required option set to never, but I believe my PC automatically updated, a feature which I totally despise, but which Windows seems to believe is necessary, and I was prompted for a password to get back in. How can I be sure I will never be prompted for a password? I never remember my password because I have to change all of my passwords all the time for "security purposes" --- believe me, I'm not concerned about hackers trying to steal my class notes or listen to my Spotify account. I don't ever want to be prompted for a password. How can I be sure this feature is totally turned off? I really don't want this to be a timewaster when I have to attend class or, even worse, take an exam!

    Enable Require password on Wake up Windows 10

    To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest disabling and
    enabling     the Require a password on wakeup settings on your power plan
    by following the steps below:

    • Open the Advanced power settings for your current chosen
      power plan      .
    • Click on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link.
    • Set the Require a password on wakeup settings to Yes
      or No, and click on OK.

    Once done with the steps, let us know how it goes.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
