    StopCode "Critical Process Died" -- No suggested fixes work so far


    Background Windows 10, pretty much up to date if not fully: Before loading a program Cakewalk by Bandlab, I created a Restore Point and an Acronis backup prior Acronis done 3 days earlier. Decided Cakewalk wasn't for me don't mean to offend anyone who uses it -- I did for 10 years and moved over to Studio One and am entrenched. I did not uninstall CW but restored from the Restore Point. After completion and the dialog box that it had restored, the computer would not reload Windows, but instead got the "Critical Process Died" stopcode, and sent to Automatic Repair. I've tried all k

    getting stopcode/critical process died and shuts down my computer .../// what is the fix?

    Recently I tried to update build 17686. But, unable to do so. while I restart my laptop it shows critical process died, stopcode error

    StopCode "Critical Process Died" -- No suggested fixes work so far

    Windows 10 critical process died

    I have tried every solution provided by Microsoft for the stopcode: critical process died. Windows 10 will not load. I have tried to use auto repair, advanced options, system restore, startup repair, command prompt and startup settings and none of them
    seem to work. Any suggestions?
