Stopping a GPE event - ACPI / System interrupts/ Debugging

Hi, is there anybody to help me please with Asus Laptop issue,ASUS X541NA - Windows 10 homeI have had high CPU usage system interrupts which I have located as down to ACPI.sys. I have followed many forums and still had no success in fixing it I have reinstalled windows many times even running windows on an external HDD and completely disconnecting the Sata HDD from the laptop, I have disconnected everything on the motherboard i.e wifi adapter, keyboard with touchpad and used a usb mouse and still this system interrupts persist. The RAM is soldered onto the MB so unable to remove that. I h

  2. Help to get Event ID 15 - ACPI to stop logging in Event Viewer

Not sure if this is the right section, if not please move to the correct one.

Under the details tab in Event Viewer when a logged event has a GUID that shows up in the registry under HKEYLM > System > CurrentControlSet>Control>WM>Autologger>EventLog-XX I know how to disable the event from logging, but Event ID 15 - ACPI does not have a GUID.

Does any one know how I can get this to stop logging? From what I have seen on the web only a fix to the motherboard BIOS would fix it and I doubt that this is high on Asus' list of BIOS fixes for the R6E. Everything I have read on the web says that this is meaningless and in the General tab it basically says to ignore it so I would like to get this to stop logging in Event Viewer.

The BIOS is not ACPI compliant

Probably some stupid oem windoze routine that checks configuration and saw it's changed and then nagging you. Go for enterprise or ultimate version.

Here's what m$ disclose on that code issue

OEM installs usually needs some low level tool to zero the whole disk out and then to go with clean installation. Is this Vista or Win7

ACPI is not same thing as PnP (PlugnPlay).

How do I modify ACPI tables on Windows

In summary, my question is: how do I modify ACPI tables on Windows?

    More details:
I'm having issues installing ubuntu 18.04 in dual boot on my new hp envy x360 Ryzen 3700U.
    I found an answer here:
Why won't my HP Envy x360 laptop with Ryzen 7 3700U boot Ubuntu live CD?; which involves modifying the ACPI configuration.

I did the following (as explained by "justin" on 203431 – Dell Inspiron 5485/5585, poor ACPI flags; requiring ACPI=off - AMD Ryzen):

I think the first 5 steps went well. I am stuck on the last part because I don't understand what I should do (install the produced facp.aml):

From what I gathered in the first thread, I have to create a CPIO archive with the FACP.aml file and provide it to the initrd kernel. I don't know how to do this since all the resources I found are for Linux and not for Windows. Can someone please explain this in simpler words?

According to the tutorial on Welcome to The ACPI Component Architecture Project | The ACPI Component Architecture Project, I have to run "acpiexec facp.aml". I did but I got this result:

Even when I run this command on an unmodified .aml file, it doesn't work, although I don't get the Unexpected AE_BAD_ADDRESS and Unexpected AE_BAD_PARAMETER lines in this case.

Since I am a complete beginner and I don't know what I'm doing, an easy to follow explanation is very much appreciated!
