Windows 10: Storage Device Not Supported for Amazon Appstore

I just updated to Windows 11 on my Surface Pro 6 and wanted to install Amazon Appstore to get Android apps. I verified that my Windows build and Microsoft Store were the required versions. No results when I searched the Store for "Amazon Appstore". I found a link for the app on a Microsoft support page, and that did open it in the store, but I get the error "Your storage device isn't supported for this product." I do have an SSD, as that is the only option for a Surface Pro 6.I verified that virtualization is enabled under Task Manager->Performance->CPU.I went to Turn Windows Feature

The Amazon appstore and it's associated apps are designed to run on Android-based devices like a Kindle fire. The Windows Phone OS is a completely different OS and none of the apps you got through the Amazon appstore can be installed or run on a Windows
Phone. Consequently, there is no Amazon appstore app that can be installed on windows phones.

You'll have to download, purchase and install windows phone apps, which you can get via the Marketplace tile that is on the phone's home screen.

I would suggest you to update your storage controller driver.

Method 1: Update Storage Controller Driver

Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Storage Controller.
• Right-click on the Storage controller Driver
  and select Update Driver Software.
• Wait for sometime and check if the issue persists.
• Restart your system.

Method 2: Uninstall and then reinstall Storage Controller driver from the Manufacturer's Website

Follow the steps.

• Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
• Expand the Storage Controller.
• Right-click on the Storage controller Driver
  and select Uninstall.
• Now, go to the Manufacturer's website and download the latest storage controller driver.
• Once the download is complete, double-click and run the setup file to complete installation.
• Restart your system.
