Windows 10: storage error when trying to download from cboc app or microsoft store

just recently on my windows 10 laptop i have been unable to download games from the Microsoft store nor can i download games from the game pass app, on the game pass it simply says i do not have and hard drives whatsoever, and on the Microsoft store it allows me to select a drive but then gives me an errorno error code but just says "try again later, something happened on our end" i have tried reinstalling both to no avail, please help.

• Go to Settings.

• You can then move the app to the SD Card after the completion of download.
