Windows 10: Storage issue with installed apps - drive get full with a question mark?

Storage issue - drive gets full with a question mark?I cant insert the image but here is the issue:I checked the storage analyzer, it said I have 230gb apps installed. I went into the details list, I tried to sum the gb, but it is nowhere near the 230gb mark. Where did I miss???

D Drive has a Question Mark, can't access it, everything is gone!

Hard drive/ OS issue

a guy suggested :

• shutdown
• unhooked HDD
• restarted
• yay !!
• reconnected HDD
• restarted
• yay !!

How to install new apps on an external storage drive on Windows 10?

I understand your concern about installing the apps on external drive. We are here to help you with this issue.

Follow the below steps to install the applications on external drive and check if it helps.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, click on Settings.
• Click on System, and on Storage.
• Under Save locations in the right pane you will find an option
  New apps will save to.
• Select the drive you wish to save the new apps to and check if it helps.
