Windows 10: Storage Limit Reached - not subscribed to MS storage.

Any idea why 'You may have reached your Microsoft storage limit' would appear at logon? I don't use any cloud storage, or have my files erroneously been copied without my consent?Thanks

"You've reached the storage limit on your phone. Go free...." How?

Just got a HTC Surround from ATT. Signed in to xbox live app, tried to do something and says" You've reached your storage limit." There is no place to go manage storage or delete anything. I get a similar message in other apps.

Any suggestions on how to do this?

Is there an error message when storage limit is reached?

Is an error message displayed on the phone when the storage limit is reached?

The Help says:

"Your My Phone account provides you with 200 MB of free storage on your web account. If you try to sync content to your My Phone account that exceeds this limit, then My Phone will stop transferring files until you manually delete some files and create more
space."

It's not mentioned whether there's a message displayed or whether the phone just stops transferring files without warning you. From other posts here, it seems that there may be a message. But I'd like to make sure.

Nokia Lumia 720 : storage full Oops! Reached the Storage limit

unfortunately i have this same problem. i even have a 32g sd card installed, reset and erased everything on my phone and just did the new windows update as well and i still can't take pictures on my nokia lumia. no matter how much free storage i have i still
get the same "oops! you've reached the storage limit on your phone. you'll need to free up some space, and then try again."

help!
