Windows 10: Storage on C: drive repeatedly fills up without any downloads

I've been having serious problems with the storage of my C: drive on my laptop. I have deleted a lot of apps and freed up a lot of storage, however every time I delete something, the storage is somehow full again after a certain amount of time. Previous chat sessions I have had have helped to find more storage to free up, but this is only temporary fix and the drive is full again after a few days. It is making the laptop nearly useless as when it is absolutely full I can't even open chrome. In settings, the storage says approximately 400GB is used by apps, however I only have about 70GB of app

Storage in C drive is filling on its own

I'm on Windows 10 Home (version 2004) and facing this strange behavior since yesterday that the storage in C drive is automatically getting filled. I've cleaned up unnecessary files using storage sense & tried deleting the restore point as well. However,
after deleting the restore point, I've gained some space but it's only for some time as the space started filling again.

Have you check if Windows is currently downloading an update?

c drive filling up

I am getting a problem. I am downloading a big 55 gb iso file in other drive except C but C drive is filling up. Why? and what is the solution?
