  1. Storage pool disks not showing up after upgrading computer hardware

I had an old plex server that I wanted to upgrade. I had 3 HDD's running as a windows storage pool that I wanted to move over to the new components. When I did however, the storage pool wouldn't appear, and the computer didn't even detect any disks connected other than the one the OS was on. I decided to move back to the old hardware since it was working there, but the same thing happens on the old hardware now. I've checked the BIOS, disk management, diskpart, and even ran Get-PhysicalDisk in powershell, but none of the hard drives appear. I know they're getting power because They're on the s

  2. Storage pool shows correct capacity, explorer does not

I have a storage pool with two 14TB disks. I recently added another 14TB disk to the pool, it shows the disk in the storage pool and the correct capacity is listed. In explorer and any other way to access the drive, it only shows the capacity of the two disks.

Attached virtual disk doesn't show up in disk manager (storage pools)

I have a strange virtual disk problem on Server 2019 (the virtual disk commands should be the same as on Win 10). I have several *.vhdx files on different physical drives which used to be in a storage pool in order to combine them into a single large volume (it's used as a temporary volume with non-critical data). After a drive with one of the virtual disk files on it broke, I deleted the pool and wanted to reassign the remaining virtual disk files to a new pool, but these virtual disks don't show up at all: Attaching the virtual disk file (say, "D:\virtualdisk.vhdx") works without errors, either through disk management (action -> attach VHD) or through powershell (Mount-DiskImage -ImagePath D:\virtualdisk.vhdx). Detaching (Dismount-DiskImage) also works. But once it's attached, it doesn't show up as a disk in disk management (or using the Get-Disk command) as if it's still part of the pool. But as I said, the previous pool has been deleted - the storage pools section in the server manager is empty (that would be storage spaces in Win 10), and the Get-StoragePool powershell command lists only the primordial pool (i.e. storage not assigned to a pool). But interestingly, it shows 88GB under "AllocatedSize", which is the size of that particular virtual disk:

With that disk detached, AllocatedSize becomes 0. So it means the virtual disk is still allocated to some (?) pool but the pool doesn't show up in the list where I can delete it properly...? Is there a way to "force-clean" a virtual disk from any pool assignments?
