Windows 10: Storage space

So i have around 29 Gb storage on laptop windows 10 and an external sd card with around 60GB on it. I've had low storage for a while, and it started to affect me when i couldn't even install the latest window update because it needed 5 GB free and i had less than a gigabyte free. I cleaned my recycle bin, removed nearly all apps on my pc, removed temporary files and basically everything it told me to do. I have no downloads or word documents as i had to clear them all. This made no difference. I tried to factory reset my laptop but it turns out I need more storage space for that aswell. It says i have around 3GB on temporary files and 6GB on apps and games but I cleared absolutely everything I could find, I'm sure Microsoft teams and google isn't 6GB. What do I do? You don't show a screenshot, so I am uncertain to which part of the process of creating a storage space you are referring. I pointed you to the tutorials. I now provide you with a screenshot of part of one of them, which shows a warning which might be what you are referring to.





Your question about double storage / redundancy appears to relate to the normal operation of storage spaces once configured, so seems obscure.

My impression is that few here have used storage spaces.

If a category can't show the folders that it contains, there is a possibility that the folders are somehow hidden. To maximize your PC's storage, follow the suggested steps in these links:

Unfortunately, following your suggested procedure it appears the Storage Spaces parity error persists.
