Storage Spaces does not show "Change" option

After my Storage pool filled up, I was able to successfully add new drives, but the new "pool capacity" which does reflect in "Storage Spaces" 38.1TB does not reflect in Windows Explorer still showing 14.5TB.

After searching online, I learned that this is likely because Storage Spaces does not automatically expand the pool capacity from what was originally specified when created even though it does display that capacity in the tool. Windows apparently expects you to add the drive to the pool, then click the "Change" button for the storage space to enter a new pool size.

Unfortunately, Storage Spaces does not show the "Change" button, and I wasn't able to find any possible explanation online.

  3. "Change" option not available to manage storage spaces

    Hello KAC_NYC.

To better assist you with your concern, I'd like to know the following:

    • Confirm which build is currently installed on your device. To check, follow the steps below:
    1. Press Windows key + R, then type in winver.
    2. Click OK.
    • What type of storage pool are you using? (Simple, Two-way mirror, three-way mirror, and Parity)?
    • Where does the incorrect storage size occurs? Is it through Disk Management or File Explorer?
    • Kindly send me a screenshot of the missing "Change" link.

Meanwhile, you may try running the command in this article
    to optimize storage pool.

Currently, this is the only thread
I've came across that is very similar to your concern.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Regards.

Show storage space in This PC

I can't get This PC to show the storage space bars for my drives and I've done all that's been suggested in this thread.
Any ideas why I might not be able to make the storage space bars show?
