Windows 10: storage wasted by sudden pc reboot during downloading APP from microsoft store, before...

Hello.

While I was downloading Forza motorsports7, my PC suddenly rebooted, I had to install it agian.

But , by first failed downloading, it wasted almost 70GB.


How can I recover that wasted storage. I can not find the file , and I can not delete it.


Can you help me find that data from microsoft store download, but could not be completed ?

How to run apps that are downloaded from Microsoft app store on multiple PCs without downloading multiple times.

 

I cannot download Sea of Thieves on PC from microsoft store.

Hi Christopher,

Sorry for the delayed response. We identified this issue regards downloading Sea of Thieves from Windows Store App and we still working on it to fix the problem. As a workaround, we suggest following the steps below:

• Cancel all existing download on the Store app.
• Start the download of Sea of Thieves once again.
• As soon as the download starts, immediately restart the computer.
  
• After the reboot, do not launch the Store app instead wait for the passive download which you can check in the Action Center. Then it will automatically install by itself and then open the game without any issues.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
