Windows 10: Store spinning only after reset

My MS Store only spins and will not open. I reset my PC and now it wont open. I have other issues as well but I want to fix store for the meantime.

DavidL61. Can you try any of the troubleshooting steps below? Let us know how it goes.

Method 1:

I would suggest you to reset Windows store cache memory and check if it helps. You can follow the steps to do so:

• On the desktop screen, press Windows and R key to open run box.
• Type WSReset.exe and hit Enter.

Method 2:

Run the following PowerShell script to re-register the new Store and check if that helps you.:

• In the Search box, type CMD
• Right click on Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator
• In the command prompt, enter the following command:
  • PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage - DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"

Windows Store Reset

Why did you delete them?

It wasn't working for me, set up as live tile but not updating the picture. I then went to featured app in the store as you suggested, then ran wsreset and it started working.

Was that your steps? I did read them but I forgot what they are now and I seem to have only done 2 steps.

Follow the below steps:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to reset the Windows Store and check if it helps.
