Windows 10: Strange apps and behaviour with Windows 10

I'm not the best with the english language but I'll try my best to explain whats happening.


Since december (last year) I've been noticed some strange things with my Windows in general and, also, some bizarre activations...


The biggest doubt: is my Windows 10 being hacked or something? Also, I'm part of FDE Corp (an Education organization here in Brazil wich I'm a gerent). Apart of this, I also have a personal shared Office 365 Home subscription.


I'm simply dont know what is genuine and whats fake anymore.


I have a digital license attached to my personal account but everytime I perform a clean installation of Windows 10, even when I put my credentials at the initial configuration, it gets activated.


Could someone help me to identify whats happening?

I would be extremely grateful!

Cortana strange behaviours

We need to do further investigation on your concern so that we can identify why Cortana is not working properly:

• Have you recently made any change/updates prior to this issue?
• Did you try to login to a different user account to check if it is the same?

Cortana's Strange Behaviour After Creator's Edition Update


Interestingly, my Cortana also presents such a list, no numbers.

Try 'The first' 'The second' etc.

...which works well, until.... the list of available options extends beyond the box as here:




So this British English-sounding voice starts reading them 'Which Minitool do you wanna open...'

And reads the list...after which I see




Oh, come on Microsoft, this is as pathetic as your start menu, where I see



- these shortcuts, each for a different program, being taken from the folders of 2,3,or 4 per program in my nested start menu.

Which is one of a number of reasons I choose to use Classic Shell start menu which actually works. Reliably.

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
