Strange behavior of Taskbar icons after recent Windows update

I wonder if anyone else is experiencing a Taskbar problem since the recent Windows update 2021-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems KB5003637? Sometimes the Taskbar icons on the right side of the screen OneDrive, Network, Speaker, Time/Date either disappear altogether, or are too far to the right chopping off part of the Time/Date view, or have some kind of overlapping icons. See snapshot below. What can be done to correct this?

    :)

    System Icons on taskbar

    Hi,

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Communities.

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

    • Click on the search bar on the taskbar.

    • Type system icons.

    • Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

    Hope it helps.

Strange behavior of taskbar app jump lists.

    Hi Nicholas,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

To better assist you, please answer the following questions:

    1. What are the lists you see when you right click on the icon in the taskbar?

    2. Are the lists associated to the application?

Please note that Jump Lists are lists of recently opened items, such as files, folders, or websites, organized by the program that you use to open them. For example, if you have Microsoft word pinned to the taskbar and right click on it, you
will see all the recently edited or modified documents in the list. Is this what you are seeing? It would be helpful if you could attach a screenshot of the jump list for us to better understand the issue.

Do get back to us with the response.
