  1. STRANGE CPU DETECTION

    Hello,

I was searching around and found that if I execute this command echo %processor_architecture% on my CMD, it will show my CPU info, and for my PC it showed "AMD64".

But on my computer properties it shows that my CPU is in fact Intel Xeon(R).

    This is very confusing.

The reason I was doing this is because I want to re-install windows and I don't know if my processors speed has to do with deciding whether I should choose a X64 or X32 version of windows, or should I just see if CPU is X64 or X32?

    Thanks!

    :)

    INCORRECT CPU FREQUENCY READING

    Hello Muhammad,

CPU usage depends on the applications that are open to your device. To isolate the problem, we suggest that you answer the following questions:

    • Can you include a screenshot of the CPU reading?
    • Have you tried performing a
      clean boot
      to eliminate software conflicts?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

    Looking forward to your response.

    • Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
    • Click on “hardware and devices”.
    • A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.
