    Strange file explorer behaviour


    This is quite odd, but doesn't happen very often, only once or twice a week maybe. I'll have file explorer open, and be using something else, for example chrome, maximised.
    All of a sudden for no apparent reason the file explorer window appears in foreground! Any ideas what could be causing it? Nothing else is going on at the time, I'm not pressing any keys or plugging anything in.

    This PC does not show files but folders, devices and Network locations.

    Click on a drive or one of the folders in Quick Access to see files.

    Strange behaviour from File Explorer

    I have a brand-new PC. After going through the normal initial setup, I clicked on the 'This PC' link in File Explorer to view the files. Instead of expanding and making the files visible, the File Explorer window just closes immediately. I've tried this
    repeately and have gotten the same result. Even after re-booting my PC a number of times. How can I fix this?
